Upheaval

The trolls are on the prowl again.

A community-wide purge, fics reported and pulled for violating ff.net's Terms of Service. They offer up an MA rating in their guidelines, but don't actually allow you to chose that rating when you post a story. The highest rating allowed is M, which doesn't cover explicit sexual acts or foul language.

Obviously, I am in clear violation.

I've been waiting for my own special email, but one has yet to arrive and there may be chance I'm flying low enough to go unnoticed. Thank god for those vague summaries everyone has always complained about.

What's a girl to do?

I'm not gonna touch Twilighted again, even if I had a ten foot pole. I have accounts at The Writer's Coffeeshop and Fictionpad, but it's enough of an effort to upload/format/post on ONE site, much less multiples and dammit if ff.net didn't make it easier to do than anywhere else.

I'm going to spend some time today revamping this place, posting most of my stories in full over here.

This is a "Sorry In Advance For Flooding Your Email With Updates" because I can't for the life of me figure out how to turn the notifications off. It's all scheduled to post the same time in the middle of the night, but still, you're about to get a little squashed by me.

Better now than later, I suppose.

  1. I wish all ff.net writers would create a blog like this. I've added you to my feed. Since google/reader went away, the best option seems to be http://cloud.feedly.com . It only works on smartphones or firefox, but I just 'follow' your blog, and when you post a new entry it appears on my list. WINNER!!!
Thank you for your writings! I've been reading them since 'Chalk', and really appreciate all you do.
If you wish to publish, power to you. I may download stories, but I also purchase all the fanfic that's been converted. I download, because some stories are so good, and get pulled, but not published. Like savage7289's transcendance. It's supposed to be published, but there's no sign of it. : ( And some stories get published, but have been edited too much. I'm glad editors didn't get hold of MOTU.
    Thank you again!
